Baby Blessing (Part 1 of Moving to Virginia)

If you did not know, we left Germany, and are taking the long way back to our home in Virginia. It is hard to leave behind Germany, again, but we feel it is the right thing to do.

First stop was in Houston to visit our litle grandbaby Kiera Stinson. She is so small and cute, lots of dark hair as you can see.

Here is one of our favorite pictures of Baby Kiera, laying on the quilt Elaine made.

Kiera had her Blesssing at church that weekend. Garrett & Tyler visited that weekend from Provo as well.

A three Generation picture from after the Blessing.
It was too short a time in Houston, visiting Jason, Lissa and Kiera, but after that, it was time to head up to Spokane for the Christnesen Family Reunion.
Footnote: Alas, baby Kiera had not uttered the word "Grandpa" by the time we left. But I will try again when we visit in the fall, to get her to say those immortal words!!

You might have to wait until next summer before she starts saying Grandpa!

Hi Elaine! We have been pretty sluggish with the piano practicing...I know you're surprised right? :-) Now that school has started, we're back in full force. They're still working on Pop goes the weasel. Take care and keep in contact.

Kiera is so beautiful - I love the hair! And I'm sure with her smart Carson genes she'll be playing piano and writing poetry about Grandpa in a couple of years :) Congrats on Adri's wedding too! You guys have had a pretty awesome year. Germany will not be the same without you.
