We were only home for a couple of days for me to teach piano lessons before we were back on a plane going to Houston for Sophia Lee's baptism.
I also made an "8" cake and some Amish sugar cookies with white frosting, the same as I did for Savannah's baptism. At the baptism I played the piano and was a witness, and Kent gave a talk. Sophia's other grandparents, the Lees, were there, too. It was a very nice baptism. I sewed her confirmation dress using fabric leftover from Adri's wedding dress. (the one on the right)
Carson's birthday is the day before Sophia's, so we celebrated his 3rd birthday with him, too.
Of course we spent some time at the Stinsons, though we'd just seen them the weekend before in Albuquerque. They were at Sophia's baptism, too.
Granddad took a turn keeping an eye on Parker.
After all the games were played the kids got to turn in the tickets they earned to choose some prizes.
It was a whirlwind trip, but we're glad we were able to be in Texas for Sophia's special day!
Granddad having fun wrestling with the grandkids!
To celebrate the two birthdays we went with the Lee family to Chuck E. Cheese. Carson liked pretending to drive a car.Granddad took a turn keeping an eye on Parker.
