It was a lovely, cool evening and almost sunset, so the conditions were ideal as we walked through the rock formations.
We attended the sealing in the Denver Temple and open house of our good friend, Keith Lundberg. We've been friends with him since the early 90's and it was just coincidence that he was being sealed on the weekend we were in town.
Andrew celebrated his one-month birthday while we were there. I think he has Elder Bednar hair in some of these pictures.
Here's the happy family in front of their house on Andrew's blessing day.
Lissa, Jason and girls surprised Rachel and Tyler by coming to the blessing. Rachel's parents and younger brother came, too.
Here's Andrew, wearing the outfit I made for Tyler to be blessed in, and wrapped in the blanket I knitted that all six of our grandchildren have been blessed in. (I like that you can see Kiera and Savannah playing in the background of this photo!)
Here's Andrew on the baby quilt made for him by his great grandma Christensen.
Here's Andrew on the baby quilt I made for Tyler 26 years ago.
It's always so precious when the newborn falls asleep on your chest.
Tyler is a proud pappa.
Andrew was pretty spoiled with two sets of grandparents and an aunt, uncles and cousins to hold him and fuss over him.
LOVE this precious family picture!
Rachel is such a loving, patient and attentive new mommy! Andrew is a lucky boy.
Here's a shot of the bumper crop of zucchini and squash that Tyler and Rachel raised this summer.Kiera and Savannah amused themselves by lining up rocks on the bricks in front of Tyler and Rachel's house.
A sweet picture of Savannah ready for family prayer.
Savannah admiring her new cousin.
An attempt at a picture with the Stinson girls.
We had dinner with our good friends we knew in Germany, the Brooks family, who live about and hour away from Tyler and Rachel. Their boys are really growing up!! It was great to see them again.
Our week in Colorado was fun, fun, fun, and we loved every minute of it!
